Planning a summer vacation but still dreaming of bringing home a new puppy? We’ve got you covered!
Our Puppy Kindergarten Academy is the perfect solution for families who want to reserve a puppy *now*, but worry about leaving them at a boarding facility or with a sitter during vacation.
How it works:
Instead of picking up your puppy at 8 weeks, they’ll stay with us for **an extra 4 weeks** in our loving home environment where they’ll get a strong start on:
✅ Crate Training
✅ Basic Obedience
✅ Leash Manners
✅ Car Rides & Socialization
✅ Board & Continued Vaccination/Deworming
Spots for our Summer Puppy Kindergarten are limited.
Puppy Academy is $1500 and due at time of puppy pick up. Full puppy payment will be required at 8 weeks of age.
Below is an outline of our curriculum goals.
This training program INTRODUCES basic manners, the potty/crate training process, basic commands, and builds a solid foundation for continued training after going home with you. It is perfect for families that want a head start on the training process.
These pups are like kindergartners. They have learned the basics but still need help and to do things correctly. They’ve kicked off potty training and can hold it for about 45 minutes in the house—pretty impressive for a little pup! They’re getting the hang of short crate sessions and are starting to learn leash manners, how to play nicely with others, basic obedience, and the oh-so-important art of fetch.
Like most puppies, their attention span is... well, let’s just say it’s a work in progress. One minute they’re nailing it, the next they’re completely distracted by a leaf. So patience is key! Think of them like a kindergartner who knows their ABCs but still needs reminders. They know they’re not supposed to color on the table... but hey, sometimes the table looks like a great canvas.
PLEASE NOTE:
This is a starter training program—it’s a great foundation, but not meant for anyone expecting a fully trained puppy right out of the gate. Puppies are still very much little babies, which means they’ll need plenty of love, patience, and consistency to keep up with potty training, basic commands, good manners, and getting into a daily routine.
A big part of puppy training is learning how to talk dog—clear communication is everything! That’s why we highly recommend watching some puppy training videos while you’re counting down the days until your pup comes home. It’s the perfect way to get familiar with how to communicate effectively and keep their training on track once they’re with you.
